What is the general requirement for ZALORA product image?    

 

Images uploaded onto the Seller Center have to follow our guidelines strictly and would otherwise be rejected by our QC team. Kindly refer to the guidelines which can also be found on our Seller Academy - Image Guidelines.

Am I able to add, delete, or edit the images already uploaded in the Seller Center?

 

Yes. On the “Product Overview” page, click on the “Edit” dropdown under “Actions” to “Manage Product Images”

 

Any edited product - including image updates, will still need to go through the QC process before going live. 

 
 

Why were my images rejected?    

 

Your images may be rejected due to several reasons, some of which are:

  • Images are pixelated / blurred
  • Images are not within the dimensions required (762 x 1100 pixels)
  • Images have loud or distracting background
  • Additional images showing irrelevant / unrelated / foreign products other than intended product
  • Images with poor model selections (depending on age, expressions, and presentations)
  • Images with Inappropriate model poses/makeup
  • Images with product not angled / displayed clearly
  • Repeated images 
  • Images with irrelevant watermarks or scribbles in the background
  • Lack of product angle image

How can I add/change my banner and logo?    

 

Logo is no longer required.

 

For the banner, please submit via the contact us form in Seller Center using this measurement: [786px (Width) x 180px (Height)]

 

 

Why am I not allowed to use product images with my own ideal background?    

 

Other than to standardize image standards across all products sold on ZALORA, our data shows that images with better quality contribute to better click rates, which in turn improve customer conversion. Our guidelines are created for standardization, but also for optimizing sales. For the same reason, we do not allow images with an outdoor setting or busy background to be displayed as the first image. Why is it necessary to have the images uploaded in 762 x 1100 px?

 

Images uploaded in the wrong dimensions will appear distorted on the website and phone apps. For the benefit of sellers and standardization, it is necessary to upload the images in the correct dimensions.

 

 

How do I make sure that the images uploaded are following the general requirements?

 

Please refer to the Creating & Uploading a Product guideline which can be found on The Seller Academy. Images uploaded to the Seller Center that violate our product image guidelines would be disapproved/rejected during the QC (Quality Control) process.

 

 

My images are not in 762 x 1100 px but have good resolution, can I edit it in the Seller Center?

 

Yes. Seller Center has the image editing tool for sellers to crop or resize images. At the page where you can ‘Manage Product Images’, look for the “Pencil” icon on the top left of the images. Subsequently, if you are experiencing issues with this editing tool, you may choose to resize your images accordingly on third party sites, such as https://www.fotor.com/.
